(OTC BB:RMDX.OB - News), a national leader in tracking and monitoring criminal offenders through GPS-enabled technologies for local, state and federal law enforcement agencies, reported today a ten-fold revenue and income increase for the 2007 fiscal year, reaching $10,970,540.
When compared to the company's $1,070,141 revenue and income for the same period ended September 30, 2006, RemoteMDX shows impressive financial growth.
"RemoteMDX attributes this increase to market acceptance of the Company's TrackerPAL product and service that was introduced to the criminal justice market late in 2006," said James Dalton, President of RemoteMDx. Of the $10,970,540 in 2007 revenues and other income, $2,400,000 was generated from the sale of intellectual property that did not pertain to RemoteMDx's core business.
The Company also reported a $26,022,912 loss for the fiscal 2007 year-end, including $15,130,758 in cash and $10,892,154 in non-cash. For fiscal 2006 year-end, a $23,797,745 loss was reported, with a cash loss of $11,397,627.
"During 2007, we increased research and development while bringing to market the TrackerPal product, a miniaturized cellular and global tracking system, monitoring center and software for sexual offenders," said Dalton. "This is the primary reason for the cash loss." In addition, certain costs were out of the ordinary, including the Company's communication costs which are set to be in-line with projection for 2008.
RemoteMDx has put together a Strategic Plan to meet its goal for monitoring 40,000 offenders by 2009. The plan calls for a sales focus in 2008, followed by a highly profitable recurring revenue base for subsequent years. The balance sheet for September 30, 2007 showed $15,284,348 in assets and $8,672,593 in total liabilities. Of recent RemoteMDx was the target of numerous innuendos that slander the Company’s reputation and that of its founders. I personally believe that it is important to differentiate fact from fiction and put into perspective where we are as a company and what we are trying to achieve.
RemoteMDx is a development stage company and as such is in a dynamic and constantly changing period of growth. Our goal is simple – to have annual revenues in excess of $100 million and monitoring over 40,000 offenders by the end of 2009. This is not an easy task as we must deal with all the problems that face a developing stage company including growing from 20 employees to 130 and probably within the year 300; resolving technical difficulties that are associated with introducing a new technology and product; managing cash flow constraints; understanding our customers; delivering the highest quality service possible while working through the introduction of new products and software; maximizing shareholder value and constantly attempting to keep our shareholders well informed.
We, at RemoteMDx, are proud of what we have assembled and the direction we have embarked upon and believe that we will achieve our goals. In the immortal words of Theodore Roosevelt as he was being criticized from all sides,

Warum - Darum - Entspannung
Das es bei neuen Produkten Kinderkrankheiten gibt, die sich erst noch auswachsen müssen, das halte ich für normal. Auch das die Planzahlen meistens zu hoch angesetzt werden ist leider meistens üblich, dient wohl oft eher dazu die Motivation der eigenen Mitarbeiter anzustacheln. Börsianer sind ein nervöses Völkchen, da wird jeder Furtz gleich hochgekocht.
Man darf einfach nicht zu viel auf einmal erwarten, das braucht alles seine Zeit. Die Richtung stimmt, darauf kommt es an. Die Bewertung ist ambitioniert, keine Frage, aber gute Unternehmen sind meistens teuer. Darüber mache ich mir erst Gedanken in 2-3 Jahren, wenn die 40.000 Einheiten installiert sind.
Man darf einfach nicht zu viel auf einmal erwarten, das braucht alles seine Zeit. Die Richtung stimmt, darauf kommt es an. RemoteMDx (OTCBB: RMDX), a national leader in tracking and monitoring offenders through GPS-enabled technologies for local, state and federal law enforcement agencies, reported today for the quarter ended December 31, 2007 being operationally positive cash earnings on total revenues of $6,005,545.
When compared to the same period ending December 31, 2006 that showed $988,237 in revenues, and a loss before research, depreciation and amortization of $4,934,427, RemoteMDx shows impressive financial growth as it continues to execute on its Business Plan.
"As sales continue to grow, the Company is quickly taking steps to implement all facets of its 2008 Business Plan," said James Dalton, President of RemoteMDx. "RemoteMDx will continue to focus on its sales growth but in tandem is also concentrating on its gross profit margin and profitability. At this time the Company is over 50% of the way into achieving its targeted gross profit margins and expects that continued improvements to the monitoring center and its technologies will allow it over the next six months to achieve its goals."

Working capital during the quarter increased to $3,708,000 from $2,568,000 and total assets increased to $21,988,000 -- up over $6,700,000 from the September 30, 2007 quarter.
RemoteMDx's 2008 Business Plan calls for revenues for the calendar year ending December 31, 2008 to total $49,000,000 with a run rate of revenues in excess of $100 million by year's end. Correspondingly, operating income of $10 million and a run rate in operating income of $56 million is also projected by year's end. The Plan requires no further dilution to shareholders. In order to achieve these numbers the Company must continue to focus its resources on expanding its sales and products, improving its monitoring center technology, and negotiate more cost effective communication costs. It forecasts that it will have an extraordinary loss for the March 31st quarter due to the redemption of its SecureAlert Series A Preferred which by so doing, will increase future profitability by over 30%. The June 30 quarter will post an overall profit that will continue to grow.
