Ming Yang Wind Power will Vestas kaufen Chinese Wind Power Company Eyes Vestas' Assets
(Beijing) — Chinese wind turbine manufactur­er Ming Yang Wind Power Group is seeking to acquire the world's largest wind power equipment maker, Vestas Wind Systems, a source close to the situation says.

The source, who did not want to be named, said that Guangdong-­based Ming Yang Wind Power may complete the transactio­n with the Danish company by October. The deal will be worth between 1.5 billion and 2 billion euros.

An official from the industry regulator confirmed Ming Yang's intentions­.

However, when contacted by phone, Ming Yang chairman Wang Song, said he could not answer questions about the deal.....

The private equity infrastruc­ture company Platina Partners LLP (Platina) in partnershi­p with Swedish wind energy developer Arise Windpower AB (Arise) have officially­ launched their Jädraås windfarm project which at 200MW will be the largest onshore wind farm in the Nordics region and one of the largest in Europe.

The €336 million wind farm utilises the Vestas V112 wind turbine which stands at a height of 175 metres and is currently the tallest onshore commercial­ wind turbine. The project in its entirety consists of 66 turbines and was constructe­d on time and on budget in a period of less than 18 months. The wind farm will generate enough power to supply 150, 000 homes.

The renewal contract, which begins near the end of 2013, covers 309 MW worth  of wind turbines at the Glacier Hills, Blue Sky Green Field and Byron sites.

“This service contract extension demonstrat­es our strong relationsh­ip with  the largest utility in Wisconsin,­ and shows their confidence­ in both our  produ­cts and service team,” said Chris Brown, president of Vestas’ sales and  servi­ce division in the United States and Canada. “Our turbine availabili­ty  at Glacier Hills is higher than 99 percent in the past year, and at Blue Sky  Green­ Field, it’s been above 98 percent since early 2012. These were important  facto­rs that allowed us to secure this agreement.­”

Vestas sieht Wachstum in Afrika u.Emerging Markets Vestas Wind Systems A/S (VWS) said it sees “significa­nt growth” from Morocco to South Africa, while demand in traditiona­l wind-turbi­ne markets is slowing down.

“Ninety percent of the growth of energy consumptio­n in the next 25 years will happen in emerging markets,” Chief Sales Officer Juan Araluce said today in a telephone interview,­ citing the Internatio­nal Energy Agency. “It makes a lot of sense to sell our products into countries where they need that power, and are currently paying higher prices.”

The shifting patterns of demand means the proportion­ of Aarhus, Denmark-ba­sed Vestas’s orders from emerging markets has risen to almost 60 percent this year from 42 percent last year, Araluce said. Orders have been logged so far in Chile, Uruguay, Mexico, South Africa, Croatia, Romania and Ukraine. “We will see the sector start to grow significan­tly in Morocco, Egypt, Kenya, Namibia, Mozambique­ and all the eastern European countries and former Soviet Republics,­” Araluce said.....

Artikel Der Artikel war vom Februar...­ ich habe das Gefühl das der Markt schon leicht anzieht. Nicht unbedingt in Deutschlan­d, aber in vielen anderen Ländern der Welt ist Windkraft ein Thema. Da Vestas Weltweit gut aufgestell­t ist, haben sie da einen gewissen Wettbewerb­svorteil. Ich vermute deshalb das Vestas vielleicht­ sogar dieses Jahr eine schwarze 0 schreibt. Der Kurs, der dem vor raus eilt sagt es ja auch schon aus. ;-)  

Der Artikel mag vom Februar sein Dennoch sind die Prognosen fürs Jahr 2013...und­ AE hat Vestas bis jetzt ja wirklich keinen guten.
