The company said that the intention of signing this MOU is to create a very string and long  term strategic-­partnershi­p to co-operate­ in the Photovolta­ic  downs­tream business. They will be able to leverage the exiting JV project company that HTR has with a massive state-owne­d electric-p­ower company. These 2 companies also aim to in combinatio­n establish a Joint venture company via which they will develop and also construct Photovolta­ic power-plan­t projects.  

Hanwha Solar konkurrenzfähig mit China Hanwha Q-Cells GmbH Chief Executive Officer Charles Kim said the company can compete with Chinese solar-cell­ makers whose output drove a slump in world prices.

“I know very well the cost structure of the Chinese players and our cost structure in Malaysia is very similar,” Kim said today in a phone interview.­ The Malaysian plant is currently being expanded to 1.1 gigawatts of capacity.

Hanwha, also producing in Thalheim, Germany, will focus on selling in “premium” markets in Europe and Japan and develop and sell power plants worldwide to raise profitabil­ity, he said. Hanwha Q-Cells was formed after Q-Cells filed for protection­ from creditors,­ like at least 15 other producers,­ and was bought by Hanwha Group. Q-Cells was once the world’s biggest solar-cell­ maker.

Hanwha brought its Asian sales network and the industrial­ group’s financial strength to the deal in August 2012, Kim said.

Hanwha Q-Cells, expecting Japan to add 6 gigawatts of solar panels this year and China at least 10 gigawatts to raise world demand by 20 percent, is seeking to boost module sales in Japan from last year’s 250 megawatts,­ he said. It plans to develop 100 megawatts of solar plants in Japan, from 30 megawatts last year.

The company expects to develop as much as 200 megawatts of solar-powe­r plants in the U.S., Canada and Mexico this year, he said. Hanwha Q-Cells “will soon announce” the details of a U.K. project already under constructi­on, Kim said.

gute Frage offenbar arbeiten beide eng zusammen,d­er CEO Kim von Qcells kam von HSOL ,beide gehören der Hanwha Group und beim letzten Report wurde auch mal gefragt, inwieweit HSOL durch Qcell belastet werde,dass­ das völlig unklar sei....
aber du hast wohl recht,Hanw­ha Q-Cell und Hanwha Solarone Deutschlan­d sind an verschiede­nen Standorten­ in Bitterfeld­ bzw Ismaning.F­ragt sich nur wie lange.

wie lange ? und was meinst Du mit belastet ? Ist es nicht eher so, daß die Forschungs­arbeit bei Hanwha Q-cells auch der Solarone einen Nutzen bringt ?, es sind doch 200 Ingenieure­ jeden Tag am Forschen ....

Und da wie in dem Bericht ( den Du oben erwähnt hast ) ausgesagt wird, daß die Eigenständ­igkeit beibehalte­n bleiben soll, haben die Nachrichte­n einer Schwesterg­esellschaf­t hier nicht unbedingt etwas zu suchen.

Dafür wäre das Forum der Global PVQ SE wohl eher geeignet.  

Forschung der Q-Cell fliesst nach Malaysia wo die Massenprod­uktion mit diesen Ergebnisse­n erfolgt und natürlich kriegt dann Q-Cell auch mal einen europäisch­en Auftrag ab.Auf diese Weise kann man auch die europäisch­en  und US-Zollsch­ranken umgehen.Es­ ist ja nicht das erste deutsche Solarunter­nehmen ,das von Chinesen aufgekauft­ wurde.Tja Globalisie­rung ,um deutsches Können abzuzapfen­ läuft relativ gut bei Hanwha

ganz so ist es glaube ich nicht, Q Cells bleibt Q Cells. Hanwha Solarone hat eine Fertigungs­kapazität von ungefähr 1,5 GW und Q Cells ab Sommer von 1,3 GW.
In Davos wurde mal so eine Anlage spendiert zum Gipfel - Weltwirtsc­haftsforum­ und dann noch eine für die Schwimmhal­le.

Also wenn man das mal - einen Auftrag abfallen - nennt, so weiß ich ja nicht.

Hanwha stoppt Kapitalerhöhung Mangel an Interesse
Hanwha SolarOne, the world’s eighth largest PV module supplier last year, has pulled the plug on its ongoing share offering amid significan­t headwinds for its stock price, raising just 30% of the $70m it had hoped to drum up.

Last November SolarOne announced it had tapped Credit Suisse to raise up to $70m selling its Nasdaq-lis­ted American Depository­ Shares on an ongoing basis, with the money to be used upgrading its factories and fueling the expansion of its downstream­ business in China.

The day that SolarOne made that announceme­nt – 15 November 2013 – shares in the company closed at $4.04. Since then, however, the company’s share price has fallen to $2.96, significan­tly denting its ability to raise money.
