BIONDVAX developing universal Flu Vaccine (Phase3)
BiondVax Pharmaceuticals Ltd. (Nasdaq: BVXV) is Phase 3 clinical phase biopharmaceutical company developing the M-001 Universal Flu Vaccine. M-001 is currently undergoing a pivotal, clinical efficacy, Phase 3 trial in about 12,400 participants. Results of the clinical trial are expected by the end of 2020.

Wow, am Freitag hat man einen ersten Vorgeschmack darauf gesehen, was bei dieser Aktie möglich sein wird.

Ein lang anhaltender Impfstoff gegen die Grippe, der auch gegen Schweine- und Vogelgrippe wirkt !
In manchen Jahren sterben weltweit bis zu 650.000 Menschen an der Grippe.
Was für eine schöne Vorstellung, was die 15 Jahre Arbeit der israelischen Firma hier endlich für uns alle bereit halten wird.

Jerusalem, Israel – June 10, 2020 – BiondVax Pharmaceuticals Ltd. (Nasdaq: BVXV) today announced the completion of the clinical study report (CSR) of a Phase 2 clinical trial of the Company’s M-001 universal influenza vaccine candidate. The trial in 120 adult volunteers was supported by the U.S. National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), part of the National Institutes of Health (NIH).
As indicated when the preliminary trial data was published earlier this year, both primary objectives of the trial, to assess the safety and T cell immune responses to M‑001, were achieved. The CSR concludes that “M-001 was safe in this study” and that “M-001 induced significant polyfunctional T cell responses.”
Dr. Tamar Ben-Yedidia, BiondVax’s Chief Scientific Officer, commented, “We are grateful for the opportunity to collaborate with NIAID and thank them for their professionalism and partnership. We also are grateful to the investigators and their teams, and to the 120 volunteers who participated in this trial. It is exciting that data from this Phase 2 trial conducted in the U.S. confirm safety and cellular immune response results, as have six previously completed clinical trials of M-001.”

Während Biontech, Curevac & Co mit wenigen hundert Personen testen und einen Virus im Auge haben, der über kurz oder lang wahrscheinlich als besiegt gelten wird, ist Biondvax mit 12.000 Patienten in der Studie und in einem dauerhaften Milliardenmarkt unterwegs, den man vielleicht sogar beherrschen kann - einfach nur Wahnsinn !

Hej hej - auf dem Weg zum Tenbagger ! Das zuschauen und Genießen macht hier richtig Spaß !
Aufgrund der umsätze vermute ich, dass im USA oder weiteren Ausland irgendwer, ein Börsenbrief oder sonstiges bereits Berichterstattung aufgenommen haben muss.
Schau mer mal. Bin heute auch mal in den sozusagen "Verfolger" eingestiegen: Open Orphan.
Open Orphan ist über hvivo an Imutex beteiligt. Open Orphan selbst bietet mit eigenem Krankenhaus eigentlich eher die Infrastruktur und sie Serviceleistung für klinische Studien an, anscheinend auch im Covid-Bereich. Das Unternehmen ist sozusagen so etwas wie der "Spatenhersteller" für den aktuellen "Goldrausch" im Health Care- bzw. Biotech-Bereich. Dazu kommt aber vor allem die 49% Beteiligung an Imutex (die restlichen 51% hält die Seek Group), die an einem universellen Grippe-Impfstoff dran sind und damit der aktuell in diesem Segment führenden Biondvax (-Aktie) dicht auf den Fersen sind. Man befindet sich in der Klinischen Phase 2 und kommt offensichtlich auch ganz gut voran. Open Orphan plant, perspektivisch den Exit bei Imutex über einen lukrativen Verkauf oder einen Börsengang. Man wird aber sicherlich nicht so dumm sein, das in dieser spannenden Phase unter Wert zu tun. Ein Spin-Off mit Einbuchung von Imutex-Aktien wäre sicherlich für die Aktionäre ja auch eine spannende Sache.

So schnell kann es gehen, von 40$ runter auf 3$. Kann mir gut vorstellen, dass die ein oder andere gehypte Corona-Aktie auch immens verliert, wenn sich der Impfstoffkandidat als unwirksam erweist.
