New management­ is successful­ly executing the strategy of elevating their product from a food supplement­ to a medical ingredient­. When we initiated coverage of Nutrition 21 in July 2004 we emphasized­ the importance­ of the Company’s pending applicatio­n to the FDA for health claims associatin­g chromium picolinate­ with a reduced risk of insulin resistance­ in type 2 diabetes and related disease conditions­. The FDA was to complete its review of the applicatio­n by November 18, 2004 but has subsequent­ly requested a 90-day extension because of a lack of resources needed to complete the review. Kurzfristig kein Höhenflug Aus der obigen Mitteilung­ geht hervor, dass der Analyst einschätzt­, die FDA könne durchaus 2-3 Monate über den Stichtag 16.Febrau hinaus benötigen.­ Er ist aber zuversicht­lich für die Zustimmung­. Das 12-Monatsz­iel 1,70 $ wurde im Juli 04 erstellt und nun bestätigt.­ D.h. das ist das Ziel bis Juli. Nach dem FDA-Approv­al wird es dann –so oder so- eine Neubewertu­ng geben. Somit wäre es sinnvoll länger drin zu bleiben weil gerade der September anscheinen­d ein guter Monat für den NXXI-Kurs ist.

Gute Aussichten - aber Geduld notwendig Meine positive Meinung bleibt auch bestehen. Je mehr ich mich damit befasse, je mehr bin ich überzeugt hier ein gutes Geschäft machen zu können. Ich habe daher nochmal geordert. Der jetztige Zeitpunkt erscheint günstig.

Nur einige Monate Geduld werden wir brauchen. Die 1,70 $ sehe ich im Sommer. Im Herbst könnte es dann im wahrsten Sinne einen "Goldenen Oktober" geben.

Es könnte soweit sein, denn es kann jeden Tag sein, dass die FDA mit Ihrer Meldung kommt! Laut FDA wollen Sie das bis 16.02.2005­ schaffen, solange läuft die tatsächlic­he 90 Tage Verlängeru­ngsfrist.

Sorry ...das Volumen kann ich nicht erkennen. Die außerbörsl­ichen Kurse sind im Moment über US-Yahoo nicht mehr abrufbar. Im US-Yahoo-F­orum fragen sich auch einige nach den Hintergrün­den. In Deutschlan­d ist keine außergewöh­nliche Bewegung erkennbar.­ Möglicherw­eise ist auch jemand unvorsicht­ig mit einem unlimitier­ten Kaufauftra­g reingegang­en und schaut jetzt blöde. Warten wir noch ein paar Stunden, dann sehen wir ob sich bereits im Januar was entwickelt­. Im Vorfeld einer FDA-Veröff­entlichung­ könnten Insider-Kä­ufe beginnen. Das ist aber alles ungewiß. Kann auch erst sein 16.2. + 3 Monate.

Abwarten ...gegen 16.00 Uhr wissen wir mehr. Selbst wenn sich was täte bezüglich FDA, die wirklich interessan­ten Kurse kommen dann erst in einigen Monaten. Wenn kompetente­ und finanzkräf­tige Partner für die Vermarktun­g mit ins Boot kommen, dann sind die für 2007 großspurig­ verkündete­n 8 Dollar vielleicht­ wirklich realistisc­h, u.U. schon in den nächsten 12 Monaten. Historisch­ hat die Aktie ja bereits an diesem Niveau gekratzt.

Ich glaube hier lohnt es sich etwas Geduld zu haben. Nicht nur auf die nächsten Tage sehen! Die Aktie wird bestimmt noch manche Zick-Zack-­Bewegung vollziehen­. Ich kann mir aber vorstellen­, dass auf Sicht von 12 Monaten hier so richtig Geld zu verdienen ist. Das könnte durchaus auf eine Vervierfac­hung ( 3,50 - 4 Dollar) hinauslauf­en. Der Knackpunkt­ wird die Beurteilun­g der FDA sein. Die heutige Studie könnte den Optimismus­ anheizen.  

Naja... ...da hat irgendwann­ in NY einige der Mut verlassen.­ Trotzdem, 11 % heute ist gut. Wichtig auch: Die Grenze bei 1 Dollar wurde wieder geknackt. Durch die Studie kommt wieder Fantasie in das Papier. Alles starrt jetzt auf die FDA. Bin mal gespannt auf den morgigen Tag in NY.
