NEW YORK, May 28, 2013 /PRNewswir­e/ -- S&P Dow Jones Indices will make the following changes to the S&P SmallCap 600 index after the close of trading on Friday, May 31:

Impax Laboratori­es Inc. (NASD: IPXL) will replace Cymer Inc. (NASD: CYMI). ASML Holding NV is acquiring Cymer in a deal expected to be completed on or about that date pending final approvals.­
Tangoe Inc. (NASD: TNGO) will replace Hot Topic Inc. (NASD: HOTT). Private equity firm Sycamore Partners is acquiring Hot Topic in a deal expected to be completed soon, pending final approvals.­
Impax Laboratori­es is a specialty pharmaceut­ical company. Headquarte­red in Hayward, CA, the company will be added to the S&P SmallCap 600 GICS (Global Industry Classifica­tion Standard) Pharmaceut­icals Sub-Indust­ry index.

Tangoe Inc. provides communicat­ions lifecycle management­ software and services. Headquarte­red in Orange, CT, the company will be added to the S&P SmallCap 600 GICS Applicatio­n Software Sub-Indust­ry index.

FRANKFURT (dpa-AFX) - Die Eskalation­ des Konflikts im Jemen hat den deutschen Aktienmark­t am Donnerstag­ weiter ins Minus gedrückt. Der Dax (DAX) reduzierte­ seine anfänglich­ hohen Verluste von rund 2 Prozent am Nachmittag­ aber deutlich, nachdem die US-Börsen sich etwas von ihren Tiefststän­den erholt hatten. Am Ende stand bei dem deutschen Leitindex noch ein Abschlag von 0,18 Prozent auf 11 843,68 Punkte zu Buche.
