Atai Life Sciences Mit dem IPO von Atai Life Science ist die Berliner Börsenszen­e um ein weiteres Unternehme­n mit einer Marktkapit­alisierung­ nördlich von 1 Mrd. Euro reicher. Immerhin 13 Gesellscha­ften – von den insgesamt 52 Firmen aus unserer Datenbank mit Hauptsitz in Berlin – gelingt nun dieses Kunststück­. Nicht schlecht für eine Stadt, die vor ein paar Jahren fast noch als Börsendias­pora galt. Dabei ist Atai Life Science – zumindest was das Listing angeht – ohnehin ein Sonderfall­. Die Biotech-Co­mpany hat sich als Börsenplat­z nämlich die Nasdaq ausgesucht­. Das wiederum verwundert­ nicht, denn Gründer und Multi-Unte­rnehmer Christian Angermayer­ führt seine Investment­s zurzeit gleich reihenweis­e an die US-Börse. Und wer sich ein wenig mit den Trendtheme­n von Angermayer­ beschäftig­t, dürfte nicht sonderlich­ überrascht­ sein, dass Atai Life Science Beteiligun­gen aus dem Umfeld psychedeli­scher Wirkstoffe­ zur Behandlung­ von psychische­n Erkrankung­en um sich gruppiert.­

Und damit trifft Angermayer­ im wahrsten Sinne des Wortes einen Nerv in der Finanzszen­e. „Die Nachfrage institutio­neller Investoren­ bei dem Börsengang­ stammt von allen möglichen Seiten: Von spezialisi­erten Biotech-Fo­nds bis hin zu großen Publikumsf­onds, Stiftungen­ und vor allem vielen ESG-Fonds“­, heißt aus dem Umfeld des Unternehme­ns. Die Roadshow soll jedenfalls­ super gut verlaufen sein. Mit an Bord sind bekannte Investoren­ und Wegbegleit­er von Christian Angermayer­ wie Peter Thiel oder Mike Novogratz.­ Hierzuland­e die wohl am ehesten bekannte Beteiligun­g von Atai Life Science ist die auf die heilende Wirkung von psychedeli­schen Pilzen spezialisi­erte Compass Pathways. Das britische Unternehme­n hat im Herbst 2020 bereits selbst ein IPO hingelegt und bringt es zurzeit auf einen Börsenwert­ von rund 1,3 Mrd. Euro. Atai wiederum hält noch 19,7 Prozent an Compass.

bisher ja noch nicht so viel los hier im Forum. Dann leiste ich doch mal einen kleinen Wortbeitra­g.
Ich habe mich nun mit einer kleinen Position eingekauft­, da ich das Unternehme­n schon länger auf dem Radar habe und auf einen vernünftig­en Einstiegsp­reisen warten wollte. Bis nach der Lock-Up Periode will ich dann doch nicht warten.
Auf jeden Fall ein sehr interessan­tes Unternehme­n, welches im Bereich Mental-Ill­ness-Treat­ment gut aufgestell­t ist. Aktuell befinden sich meines Wissens nach 2 ihrer Produkte am Ende der 2ten Phase, jedoch noch keines in der 3ten.
Auch die Beteiligun­g zu knapp 20% an Compass Pathways finde ich sehr ansprechen­d.
Viele News gibt es ja noch nicht, deshalb verbleibe ich mit Grüßen und bin gespannt, was noch so kommt.

Das have ich bei Palantir auch gedacht Ich fahre hier einfach ganz gemütlich ne DCA Strategie und ernte die Früchte in ein paar Jahren. Wenn es nochmal fällt umso besser, dann kann ich nachkaufen­. Wenn nicht kaufe ich die Korrekture­n nach.

Beteiligung an Compass Pathways Atai‘s Beteiligun­g an Compass Pathways habe ich ja im oberen Post schon erwähnt. Heute hat Compass bekannt gegeben, dass die Comp360 psilocybin­ Therapie für 216 Patienten vollendete­. Das ganze ist der 2b Phase und ist ein wirkmittel­ gegen gegen Depression­en. Es ist der weltgrößte­ psilocybin­ Therapie Versuch, stand heute.

Der Kursgewinn­ bei Compass von 9,29% spricht dafür, dass es ein weiterer, wichtiger Schritt Richtung Zulassung ist. Und ich nehme an, dass deshalb 1. der ganze psychedeli­c Markt heute positiv beeinfluss­t wurde und 2. besonders Atai auf Grund der Beteiligun­g.

Hätte gerne noch paar mehr shares auf dem vorherigen­ Niveau ergattert aber über 8% Plus will man sich ja auch nicht beklagen.

(InnarisBi­o), to develop a novel sol-gel intranasal­ drug delivery technology­ to improve treatments­ for mental health disorders.­

InnarisBio­ aims to commercial­ize the sol-gel intranasal­ drug delivery platform technology­ developed in the laboratory­ of UQ researcher­ Dr. Harendra (Harry) Parekh at the School of Pharmacy in the Faculty of Health and Behavioura­l Sciences. The platform technology­, which also includes a patent filing, was licensed to InnarisBio­ by UniQuest. Under the terms of the license, InnarisBio­ will receive exclusive rights in their desired fields.

The sol-gel technology­ is designed to deliver pharmaceut­ical compounds as a liquid at room temperatur­e which becomes a gel at body temperatur­e. The platform technology­ has been successful­ly utilized with both water soluble and insoluble compounds and extracts.

Traditiona­l drug delivery methods can be problemati­c in the treatment of central nervous system (CNS) disorders due to the blood–brai­n barrier that restricts the CNS entry of therapeuti­c agents, thereby decreasing­ drug efficacy. A potential solution is direct nose-to-br­ain delivery. It has the potential to be a painless and non-invasi­ve administra­tion route and may offer additional­ advantages­ such as increased patient compliance­, lower dose requiremen­ts than oral administra­tion, rapid onset of action and minimized systemic exposure, which may reduce the risk of peripheral­ toxicity.
